Irene is currently a PhD student pursuing Gender and Development Studies at University of Nairobi, Kenya. She has Master of Arts in Gender Studies from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. She has previously worked as Graduate Fellow with the International LiveStock Research Institute (ILRI).
Irene conducts Reser to understand issues of gender inequality, GBV, Sensitise, educate, and build the capacity of young boys and men(groups) in positive masculinity to help them change behaviours and as role models to end violence against women and girls in Uganda.
